How to Keep Charlotte Frogs Out of Your Pool or House

Frogs are weird creatures, and have been the source of many weird and strange old remedies in medieval Europe (which often resulted in the death of the frog). But Charlotte frogs made it through the middle ages, and are now wanting to stay in your residence. This can be a nightmare if you have a pool as you have to drain it all of water and then remove the body from the water (frogs don't do to well in the water). Frogs do help in the sense that they keep bugs out of the pool, but either way they can still be a nuisance. So here's a way to keep the frogs out!

The best way to keep North Carolina frogs out is to build a basic perimeter around either the pool or your house. This doesn't just eliminate frogs from getting in your pool, but in your property altogether. Another way is to put a simple cover on top of the pool, this is a double win because it doesn't just stop the Charlotte frogs from coming (they go to the water because its reflective), it also stops bugs such as moths doing the same thing.

A more expensive way is to keep the water moving. If the water is moving then the bugs will not go near it (especially ones like moths) and therefore the North Carolina frogs won't either. This constant movement of water can be done through a water fountain. On the flip side, there's a method which can help you save money. And that is to ensure that there are no/minimal lights on during the night when they are not needed. This again results in bugs not being attracted to your property.
